Hola, friends (and family)! We are still riding high on our honeymoon vibes, but it's back to reality as we settle back into work and home. I wanted to share a few photos, as I've been looking to them as inspiration for my new #100daychallenge (100 days of abstract watercolors). When I realized the other day that there were 100 days left in 2017, I thought it was only fitting that I close the year out with this challenge since that's the way I started. In the middle, I turned 30, launched this site, worked out a lot and lost ten pounds for the wedding, had the best time of my life in the Catskills for my bachelorette weekend, got married at City Hall here in NY (I'll share some photos soon), celebrated with family in Nevada and friends in Brooklyn, went on our honeymoon to Barcelona and Mallorca, and ate a lot and gained ten pounds back....ha! Needless to say, it's been a very full and exciting year, full of love and endless gratitude.
Anyways, back to Mallorca. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort, which I was a little nervous about since I've never done that before. But let me just say, it was the MOST relaxing and enjoyable time and I wish I could snap my fingers and be back in a hammock, drinking an Aperol Spritz, staring at the Mediterranean. In case you need a recommendation, the hotel was the Iberostar Jardin del Sol. We had a suite with it's own balcony and hot tub, but the public areas were so beautiful that I think we spent more time hanging out at the pool than in our room. If you're considering a trip to this beautiful island, I highly recommend this hotel.
I'm going to aim to share more of my life here, because let's be honest, it's fun to know a little bit about people we've never met. I love when artists that I admire have an online presence in the form of a blog or journal. I recently discovered that Karina Bania has one, and I just gobbled it all up in one sitting. Plus, it's also nice to look back on your own life, and blogs are a nice way to record that.
Ok, bye for now!
